I've simplified my life and incorporated Amazon into the subject matter for
my self publishing blog. I still update my
page on Amazon sales ranks whenever I get a decent new batch of data, including
a recent estimate on the top 1,000 sellers, which
I had ignored for the last three or four years. I also continue to update
my page on publishing industry book sales, which
covers Amazon, Barnes&Noble and Borders, using data from SEC filings
and the numbers gathered by the Department of Commerce.
